Main bearing caps are CNC machined from solid billet low sulphur chrome moly steel. The sides are ground to precise thickness and the bores are machined undersize and must be line bored after installation.
Billet steel main bearing caps provide increased stability to the entire crankshaft rotating assembly and augment the strength and durability of high horsepower engines.
